Opportunities
I greatly enjoy mentoring high school and undergraduate students in research, and I welcome anyone interested in projects related to climate change, plant ecology, and ecosystem function to reach out about potential research opportunities.
Over the years, I have collaborated with undergraduate students through programs such as Stanford’s Biology Summer Undergraduate Research Program (B-SURP), Building Up Developing Scientists (bioBUDS), Stanford Summer Research Program (SSRP), Community College Outreach Program (CCOP), Mentoring Undergraduates in Interdisciplinary Research (MUIR), the Sustainability Undergraduate Research in Geoscience and Engineering Program (SURGE), Foothill Community College’s Science Learning Institute (SLI), and Federal Work-Study (FWS). In addition, I have enjoyed mentoring numerous high school and undergraduate volunteers, helping them gain hands-on experience in ecological research and scientific inquiry.
I am currently hiring two part-time Stanford undergraduate research technicians through Federal Work-Study; please find the full job posting here.
